Default Anti-slip decking paint/mats

Can anyone recommend a good anti-slip decking treatment paint please?
Or, if the recommendation would be that it doesn't work well a good choice for matting, or basically something to avoid a slippery deck!?
Thanks

I was in b&q's the other day and they had some strips of grit that locate into the grooves of your decking , was 40 a pack but looked like you got a good few lengths in it. Can't recommend it as not tried it so hopefully you can let me know what you think .

That's something I hadn't thought about. Is decking that slippy or is it only slippy with certain soles on shoes?

Running spikes are good in winter when the water in the grooves freezes....must admit we have non slip upvc but if there is any water on decking and it freezes, its like an ice rink

Decking is horrendous and dangerous especially if you have tree's around you, cannot keep your feet when sap from trees get on it or leaves. I used astro turf on last caravan and put it on my decking at home, at home it has been down about 5yrs and seems ok . I have concrete pad now and no decking to worry about.

Cant answer that, but a lot of the vans on our site have it

Its an age old problem with slimey slippy decks , almost not worth having them when they become more trouble etc
