Default Economical Static Caravan Heating Save

Hi please have a look at my static caravan heating solutions........

I provide a economical alternative to costly gas central heating, and eliminate the need for dangerous portable electrical heaters, the system that Im offering is whats known as a air source heat pump which is commonly referred to as a heat pump air conditioner that you typically would find in conservatories, outbuildings, offices and will be mandatory in all new build homes by 2016.
The main driving point for using this method of heating opposed to the above is how cost effective and versatile these systems are.

I have install 85+ systems so far in 2 parks in Kent and had nothing but positive feedback, the main reasons for opting for air conditioning in static caravans are:-

1. Will cost a maximum of 1.80 to heat the whole caravan if set on 30c (far to warm) providing you pay 11p per kw, set on 22c should cost about 1.
2. Provides heating/cooling and a built in dehumidifier in one compact wall mounted unit.
3. Quiet operation.
4. No maintenance costs.
5. 3 years warranty.
6. Energy rating A/heating and A/cooling.

The system basically consists of two parts, a indoor unit that is mounted as high on the wall as possible and a outdoor unit, they both are very compact, the two elements link together by various pipes and cabling that are always encased in purpose made plastic trunking that suites the fabric and layout of the caravan.
The system has a full load current of 9 amp, this figure given is tested in the manufactures test lab under extreme conditions by way of multiple faults and maximum demand setting, I have tested myself and the most FLC I have achieved is 5.4 amps, so there is no need to worry that this system will keep tripping your limited electricity supply out, as a rule of thumb it cost the same as having a 40w table lamp on!!!

As im sure you are aware this is the most cheapest way of heating your home on the market for static van owners, so in my eyes its not all that necessary to go to extreme lengths to make costly modifications to the fabric of the building for insulation improvement purposes, although they will help retain the heat.

Im really passionnant about my work and love working with my customers on a one to one basis, I especially like the fact that after the initial outlay of the system it does not take long for them to see the savings made, some say that after 1.2yrs!!

This is a new venture for me offering my services to the static caravan market, its not new for me to be installing these units though as I have the pleasure of 15+ years!!

Im currently only doing installs in and around Kent,Surrey,Essex etc but hoping this will change as I build my business from strength to strength.

If there is anything you would like to ask me please feel free to do so im more than happy to help, also please click on the images below to see my flyer,LG system and how heat pumps work.

Many thanks Joe.

The price of installation will be the main decider and also whether the site owners will allow it to be fitted by an external contractor.

For my own part I don't see it as a practical solution for a holiday caravan since the amount of time spent in it wouldn't be great enough to warrant the expenditure. The total cost of installation will buy a lot of gas bottles or run many hours of electric heating without any extra maintenance regime !

Air source heat pumps work better with underfloor heating systems and when applied to radiator systems it requires a larger than normal radiator surface area to achieve similar temperatures to that produced by a traditional boiler, caravans typically have smallish radiators.

This system doesn't use radiators also we live in our caravan for 46 weeks a year so I think it is worth considering

Hi rio total cost is 880 including a 3 year warranty, in the month I've not been on this website I've installed another 19 systems, 4 of them are holiday let's, these systems do not use radiators and under floor heating is not necessary, the idea of this method is to make the most of what we have to work with for the cheapest possible price whilst not compromising on quality, yes under floor heating would be nice and would complement any aftermarket system but if not specified at manufacturing stage its going to cost a bomb!!!

Bump

As a newbie cruising this site I noticed the following:

1. GibboJoe has been inactive here since Feb this year,2014.

2. His circuit ATT was SE England area but 'expanding'.

3. Googling failed to bring up anything about his 'Caravan Heating & Cooling Solutions' business.

4. His Flyer revealed no address, website or landline: just his Mobile No.

5. On the face of it this system looked good and seemed respectably priced.

I'm inclined to investigate further but:

The lack of any recent information/traceability concerns me just a little (my ugle Mother always taught me to be cautious ...)

Has anyone here heard recent news of this installer & his energy-saving LG air-con products or verified testimonials, even?

Bob L
