Tiamaria,
thanks for the answer, but i was thinking of somewhere for them so stand and get their muddy boots off if its raining before going into my clean van, not sure if anything like a porch is available for statics, you can get them for tourers but not sure about statics

Waahaay, got our porch fitted, they've done a really excellent job too, it bucketed it down today a couple of hours after they left and not one sign of a leak.

The price was very good too, 1,700, and it took four blokes around two hours to install it, here's a few pics http://s194.photobucket.com/user/bes...?sort=3&page=1

Just thought I'd also mention that Groupon are running that promotion on Mattresses again, this is an unbelievably cheap price for such a high quality mattress http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/natio...oftly-27567678

I think it looks great, but I'm amazed that you have been allowed to do this as our license (issued by the council) specifically prohibits porches.

If anyone else is considering this, please check with the park 1st

Thanks guys, it's the maximum size that's allowed on our site 9' x 5'. The rules are that they aren't to be used as an extra room, so you couldn't, for example, put a table and chairs into it.

Many of the vans on our site have a porch, in the main they are used for removing shoes before entering your van, but ours, come the muddier weather, will also be used to clean up Gorgeous George's paws before entering the van after having been out for a walk. It just makes so much sense to me, much rather muddy the porch than the van.

Its great, no one on our site has one so I guess we aren't allowed. we are lucky to have a porch roof as the newer vans don't seem to have.
