Default 38' / 39' x 12' 2 beds wanted - Off Site

I feel as though I've done nothing for weeks but sit and trawl the internet for a static van and my brain is struggling to cope (I've been to a couple of second hand dealers but to be quite honest I wouldn't let my dog go into one of the vans and the damage was ridiculous).

I'm placing the caravan in Belgium so I need it off site.

Ideally no older than 2010.

to the forum.

We have a member who is selling a beautiful static, a little older than you are looking for but may be worth considering.

http://www.gostatic.co.uk/showthread...ight=siteworth co consideration?

Roy Kellett caravans also usually has a large selection, but I understand quite a few are being bought from him recently by people affected by recent storm damage and are buying replacements from him.

There's also Salop Leisure, but there are so many Dealerships across the UK, it's an open book unless you narrow the search area down a little for us lol. How far are you willing to travel to view?

Be careful what you are buying from eBay (and certain unscrupulous dealers) check for signs of flood damage in our 'buying advice and tips' there's some tips on what to look for when buying used http://www.gostatic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4201

Other than that, we have Site Owner members who may also advise. Have a look at our caravans for sale section too. I'll see what else I can find for you later.

Have you got transport/disconnection/reconnection team? We can provide contacts for that should you need it.

We have at least two members who have moved statics abroad they may also be able to offer advice from their experience.

Elless may also be able to help as she bought offsite.

I'll look for some links to relevant threads on here .......

Ian James in Somerset has a lovely Pemberton it's 38ft x 12ft.
You could try Worcestershire Caravans but their website is down at the moment. You could give them a call on 01299 878872 they could email pics of any they have that might be suitable. I had good service from them.

Britinga I forgot to welcome you to the forum.

Default Static Caravan Wanted

Thank you for your response, I sit and look at the internet for hour upon hour checking out static caravan dealer's stock - but it's hard to tell from photographs if they are going to be suitable, as I found out by driving 4 hours to view some and they were very disappointing (it doesn't help that I live in Kent and most of the dealers are up north)

I've just looked at Ian James and I agree, the Pemberton he has for sale does look very nice - looks like a day trip to Somerset then!

I have a 2006 Cosalt Baysdale I want to sell off site. It's like new, had 2 beds, lose furniture, DG & CH. It also has both a bath and a shower. s available if you want them.

I know it's older than you are looking for, but I am sure I can do you a really good deal

I can confirm its a great van, in very good condition. We looked around it, but we wanted one newer than the one we had

I know exactly what you mean. Against all the advice, I was on the verge of buying a van unseen because I too had travelled long distances to see caravans that I wouldn't let my dog live in. Eventually Colleen, on here, spotted my van at Worcestershire caravans which was only 20 miles from where I live.
Let us know how you get on.

Thank you, but I think that 'him' who isn't doing any leg work, would like to get a newer van.

No problem, I understand, but it was worth a punt!
