20 years, then annual inspection.
There is a vast abundance of older caravans, 99% of which are kept in lovely condition, these exchange hands probably more frequently than the newer ones. Lots of people use them as 'starter' caravans to see if they like owning a static.
Live life forwards, but learn from it backwards ...
15 years from new. There are older vans on our site in excellent condition, so perhaps depends on how many empty pitches at the time. Prob wouldn't ask you to move off id loads of pitches empty. We though 15 years was ok for us, hubby will be 77 and I'll be 72, so if the kids want a van after that they can pay for it, and we'll use theirs.
our site has a 20year age restriction. we have 12 years left. to be honest im happy with this rule. then the van to replace it with can be no older than 5 years old, again im happy with this rule. i guess im just an happy person.
