Default Site caravan age restrictions.

On your site is there a age restriction on your van?

Ours is no age restriction but you cannot sell on site after 15 years.

No age restriction but you can't sell it on site after 10 years but you can trade it in at any age for an overpriced newer van

No restrictions at all regarding age. If the van is in a good state of repair, it can stay!!

Officially we have 15 years, but were told as long as you keep the van in good condition, they will not ask you to move it, obviously though they would like you to upgrade.

There are a few vans older than 15 years on our site, but they are in very good condition.

20 years, then annual inspection.

There is a vast abundance of older caravans, 99% of which are kept in lovely condition, these exchange hands probably more frequently than the newer ones. Lots of people use them as 'starter' caravans to see if they like owning a static.

15 years from new. There are older vans on our site in excellent condition, so perhaps depends on how many empty pitches at the time. Prob wouldn't ask you to move off id loads of pitches empty. We though 15 years was ok for us, hubby will be 77 and I'll be 72, so if the kids want a van after that they can pay for it, and we'll use theirs.
